Ep 4. More Wicked Pickin'

In season 3 episode 4 of American Pickers: Best of, titled "More Wicked Pickin'," Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz set out on another exciting adventure through the backroads of America. In this episode, the duo travels to Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland in search of unique and valuable treasures.

Their first stop takes them to a tobacco farm in Maryland, where they meet an eccentric collector named Bob who has amassed an incredible collection of vintage advertising signs. Bob is reluctant to sell anything, but Mike and Frank manage to coax him into parting with a few choice pieces. They also meet a man named Tim who has a collection of antique farm equipment, including a rare threshing machine. To the delight of Mike and Frank, Tim is willing to negotiate on the price, and they are able to add the threshing machine to their haul.

Next, the pickers head to a rural property in Delaware where they meet a man named Roger who has an enormous collection of all things vintage. Roger's property is so vast that Mike and Frank don't even know where to start, so they enlist the help of Roger's son to guide them through the maze of buildings and sheds. Along the way, they discover a wide array of treasures, from a vintage jukebox to an old-fashioned barber chair. They also stumble upon a 1965 Ford Galaxie that Frank is particularly excited about.

The third leg of the pickers' journey takes them to a flea market in Pennsylvania, where they encounter a vendor named Tommy who has an eclectic collection of oddities. Tommy has a penchant for collecting taxidermy, and his booth is filled with a wide array of stuffed animals, including a bear and a bobcat. He also has a collection of vintage circus memorabilia, including posters, tickets, and costumes. Mike and Frank are intrigued by Tommy's collection and end up striking a deal for several items.

Throughout the episode, the pickers encounter a variety of characters, each with their own unique stories and collections. They learn about the history of the items they find and share their own knowledge and expertise. Most of all, they have fun and enjoy the thrill of the hunt.
