Ep 7. Darla

Angel season 2 episode 7 named Darla begins with Darla showing up in Angel's office. Angel is surprised to see her as she is a vampire and he thought she was dead. Darla explains to Angel that she has been given a second chance and that she wants to start over. She says that she wants to help him and his team fight against evil.

Angel decides to take Gunn on a case with them to show him what they do. The case they are working on involves a demon that is attacking street performers. They discover that the demon is being controlled by a powerful vampire named Drusilla.

When they confront Drusilla, they find out that she has been controlling the demon in order to get Angel's attention. Drusilla is still in love with Angel and wants him to be with her. She tells Angel that Darla is lying to him and that she is still evil.

Angel is torn between his loyalty to Darla and his past with Drusilla. He starts to doubt Darla's sincerity and begins to investigate her past. He finds out things about her that he never knew before and starts to question if he can trust her.

In the end, Angel confronts Darla about her past and she tells him the truth about everything. She tells him that she has been trying to atone for her past and that she wants to make things right. Angel sees the sincerity in her eyes and decides to forgive her.

Darla proves herself once again when she helps Angel and his team take down Drusilla. In the end, Angel thanks Darla for helping him and his team and tells her that he trusts her.
