Ep 19. The Price

In Angel season 3 episode 19, titled "The Price," the gang at Angel Investigations is faced with a new challenge: a group of demon art collectors who are willing to do anything to obtain a rare painting that they believe has the power to awaken a long-dormant god. As Angel and his team race to stop the collectors from unleashing chaos on the world, they must also confront their own personal demons.

The episode opens with the introduction of the demon art collectors, led by a sinister figure named Marcus. He and his associates are shown stealing the rare painting from a museum, killing several guards in the process. Meanwhile, Angel and his team are dealing with their own problems - namely, Cordelia's strange behavior. She has been acting increasingly erratic and suspicious, and the gang is worried about her.

As the investigation into the demon collectors continues, it becomes clear that they are not to be trifled with. They have a vast network of resources and are willing to kill anyone who gets in their way. Angel and his team, however, are determined to stop them at all costs.

As the story unfolds, we learn more about the painting and the power it holds. It was created by a priestess of an ancient god, and is believed to be able to summon the god back to the mortal world. The demon collectors believe that they can use the painting to resurrect the god and gain its favor, but Angel knows that such an action could have catastrophic consequences.

Meanwhile, Cordelia's behavior becomes more and more mysterious. She seems to be talking to herself, and her actions are becoming increasingly violent. Angel and the gang realize that something is seriously wrong, and they begin to investigate her behavior in earnest.

As the episode nears its conclusion, the demon collectors make their move. They attempt to summon the god using the painting, but things go horribly wrong. The god is not what they expected, and it begins to wreak havoc on the city. Angel and his team must fight for their lives against the god's minions, all while trying to stop the demon collectors from causing any more damage.

In the end, the gang is able to stop the demon collectors and banish the god back to its realm. However, they are left with the realization that their own personal demons can be just as dangerous as any external threat. The episode ends with the gang reflecting on the choices they have made and the price they have paid for their actions.
