Penny is quick to judge Lionel and doesn't hesitate to voice her disapproval of his past career as a soldier. Meanwhile, Alistair and Judith are facing their own problems when Alistair becomes jealous of Judith's work with an attractive colleague. These personal issues are further compounded by a professional disagreement between Jean and Lionel as they try to secure an important bookstore account. Will the tension between Jean and Lionel, as well as their friends, be enough to fray their relationships?
