When it comes to animated TV series, Back at the Barnyard is a comedic gem! Based on the popular movie Barnyard, this hysterical show focuses on the mischievous behavior of Farmer Buyer's livestock when no one is looking. Led by Otis, a happy-go-lucky cow who inherited his commanding position after the death of his father, this diverse group of animals will go to great lengths to add a bit of fun to their dull existence. From building amusement parks to wild parties, making movies to treasure hunts, Otis, Abby, Pig, Freddy, Peck, Duke and friends are consistently creating havoc-ridden adventures which they try hard to keep secret from the surrounding human inhabitants. Despite their efforts, Mrs. Beady, a neighbor of the farm, has caught slight glimpses of their antics and consistently tries to expose the animals actions in order to prove to others that they are not your ordinary farm creatures. To prevent her success, the barnyard brood regularly does things to get under her skin and trip up her plans. Filled with an abundance of pop-culture comedy, this cartoon is not only enjoyable for children but also is side splitting for parents as well. The characters in this animated comedy are so colorful and unique that they significantly increase the magnitude of the hilarity. Freddy a funny, feeble-minded ferret suffers from multiple personalities as well as paranoid delusions and is consistently trying to resist his carnivorous urges to eat his best friend Peck (a rooster). Abby, a boyish yet beautiful, bottle-blonde cow, holds affection for Otis and is athletic, competitive, stubborn, and a bit pushy at times. She even displays traits of a personality disorder, which adds to the comical spontaneity. A dimwitted sheep dog named Duke is another favorite. He seeks authority at every turn, yet is constantly is being outsmarted by the sheep he is entrusted to heard. No matter how you look at it, this show packs laughable content at every turn and keeps audiences of all ages contently intrigued. From superhero ambitions to sabotaging news casts, Otis and his friends will stop at nothing to have a good time; and you can be sure that you'll also have a good time enjoying their comedic tomfoolery.
