Shujin and Saiko meet with their editor Hattori to discuss their ongoing manga series "Perfect Crime Party." Hattori reveals that the manga is doing well in popularity polls and suggests they start working on a anime adaptation. Shujin and Saiko are thrilled, but soon realize they will have to negotiate with the TV networks and production companies.

Meanwhile, the two decide to try their hand at writing a one-shot manga for a popular magazine called "Jack." They come up with a story about a samurai who has lost his way and is trying to find a reason to continue living. Saiko struggles with the writing, but Shujin encourages him to keep going.

As they work on the one-shot manga, they also continue to make progress on "Perfect Crime Party" and begin brainstorming ideas for the anime adaptation. Hattori suggests they hold a meeting with potential animators, and they soon find themselves overwhelmed by the number of people interested in the project.

Despite the stress and pressure, Shujin and Saiko continue to work hard and push themselves to succeed. They also make time for their personal lives and spend time with their friends and family. Saiko even attends a wedding with his girlfriend Miho, and they discuss their dreams for the future.

At the end of the episode, Shujin and Saiko submit their one-shot manga to "Jack" and wait to hear back about whether or not it will be accepted. They also continue to work on "Perfect Crime Party" and the anime adaptation, knowing that their future success depends on their hard work and determination.
