Bodo travels to New Zealand to meet the kiwi bird and learns they can't fly because there are no predators. He pretends to be a predator to teach them, but the kiwis just laugh. The authorities mistake him for a ferret and send him home. Back home, Bodo tries to teach a cockroach to fly and ends up flying himself!
