Bodo plans a Caribbean steamboat cruise but accidentally boards a Volga river cruise. Despite the scenery, the ship's passage, and the captain's guidance, he insists he's in the Caribbean. It's only when the ship reaches Myshkin that he admits he's on the Volga. Enjoying the sights from the upper deck, he decides the Caribbean can wait.
