Bodo waters his tiny tree, hoping it will grow quickly, but it doesn't. He seeks out the tallest trees to teach it, but none of them seem right. Eventually, he finds the Hyperion redwood, the tallest tree in the world. However, Bodo realizes it takes centuries for trees to grow, so he takes his tree home and lets it stay small.
