Ep 18. The Sound and the Furry

The hikers are scared and want to leave, but Max convinces them to stay and help them in their fight against Hex. They eventually find Hex's lair, a giant treehouse suspended high in the trees, and sneak in. However, they are quickly discovered and Hex unleashes his robot creatures on them.

Ben transforms into various alien forms, including Cannonbolt and Four Arms, to fight the robots while Gwen uses her magical powers to protect them. Max, being too old to fight, guides the hikers and tries to keep them safe. The battle goes on for a while, with both sides gaining and losing ground, until it finally reaches its climax. Ben, using his cleverness and resourcefulness, manages to defeat Hex and destroy his lair.

The episode ends with Ben, Gwen, and Max sitting by the campfire once again, enjoying their marshmallows and reminiscing about their adventure. The hikers also join them, grateful for having been a part of the fight against evil. They all agree that camping can be pretty exciting, even if it does come with a few dangers.
