Ep 16. James Franco

In Between Two Ferns season 1 episode 16, host Zach Galifianakis welcomes James Franco to the show. As always, Galifianakis opens the show by insulting his guest, suggesting that Franco is only there because he has a movie coming out. Franco is a good sport though, and takes the ribbing in stride.

Throughout the interview, Galifianakis is constantly making snide remarks and jabs at Franco. However, it's clear that the two are actually friends in real life, and the mutual respect and admiration they have for each other underneath all the humor shines through.

Though the episode isn't necessarily the strongest in the series, Franco's good-natured attitude and easy smile make it an entertaining watch. His willingness to play along with Galifianakis' insults and jokes is what makes the show work so well.
