Ep 9. Fill Bill / Critterball Crisis

In the ninth episode of season 1 of Big City Greens, titled "Fill Bill / Critterball Crisis," Cricket finds himself in a difficult situation when he loses his family's savings in a vending machine. As the family struggles to make ends meet, they decide to take on odd jobs to earn some extra cash. Meanwhile, Tilly becomes obsessed with a game called "Critterball," which leads to a bit of a crisis when she starts to neglect her responsibilities around the house.

In the first half of the episode, titled "Fill Bill," Cricket is entrusted with the family's savings and given the task of buying a watermelon from a vending machine. However, things don't go according to plan when he accidentally loses all of the money in the machine, leaving the family in a predicament. To make matters worse, the family's refrigerator breaks down, meaning they have no way of storing food.

Determined to make things right, Cricket and Tilly decide to take on some odd jobs around town. Cricket tries his hand at being a magician, but quickly realizes it's not quite as easy as it looks. Meanwhile, Tilly offers to help out at a pet store, but quickly becomes overwhelmed by the responsibility of taking care of so many animals.

As the family struggles to get by without any money, Bill encourages them to come up with creative solutions to their problem. Eventually, they come up with a plan to sell their prized possessions at a local flea market, which ends up being a success.

In the second half of the episode, titled "Critterball Crisis," Tilly becomes obsessed with a game called Critterball, which involves launching critters through a series of obstacles. She spends all her time playing the game, neglecting her responsibilities around the house and even skipping out on family time.

Fed up with Tilly's behavior, Cricket decides to take matters into his own hands. He comes up with a plan to distract Tilly from the game by creating a real-life Critterball course in the backyard. Tilly, eager to play, teams up with her siblings to complete the course.

However, things quickly spiral out of control when the critters used in the game escape and start wreaking havoc on the neighborhood. The Greens are forced to work together to round up the critters and get them back to their rightful place.

In the end, the family is able to come together to solve both their financial and critter-related problems. The episode ends on a positive note, with the Greens closer than ever and ready to tackle whatever challenges come their way.
