Ep 8. Copenhagen

In Billions season 5 episode 8, entitled "Copenhagen," the battle between Bobby Axelrod and Chuck Rhoades continues to grow more intense. With Axe needing to make a big move after last week's setback, he calls in a favor from an old friend in an effort to gain the upper hand. Meanwhile, Wendy Rhoades struggles to reconcile her loyalty to her husband with her continued work with Axe Capital.

As the episode draws on, we see Chuck's own struggles start to come to light. After experiencing a health scare, he begins to question his own life choices and whether or not this battle with Axe is truly worth the cost. At the same time, Axe is forced to confront some of his own demons. As he and his team work to advance their latest play, Axe is confronted with a face from his past who forces him to face his own vulnerabilities and re-evaluate his priorities.

The tension between the characters is palpable throughout the episode, with each individual facing their own challenges and negotiations. As the stakes continue to rise, the viewer is left wondering what decisions each character will make and how they will ultimately impact the ongoing battle for power and control.
