Black Ink Crew: New York Season 3 Episode 12 All You Did Was Mess Up My Hair

Black Ink Crew: New York is a reality TV show following the daily lives of the crew at Black Ink tattoo studio in Harlem. In season 3 episode 12, titled All You Did Was Mess Up My Hair, tensions are high after a fight erupts between two of the staff members.

The episode opens with Ceaser, the owner of Black Ink, trying to smooth things over between Dutchess and Donna, who've been at each other's throats for weeks. Genesis had started living on the streets after their falling out, and Sky had been unable to find him despite her best efforts. Their reunion is bittersweet as Sky realizes how much her son has suffered while she was living in luxury. She promises to do better and make it up to him.

The work day at Black Ink is interrupted by the arrival of Tiffany, a former flame of Ceaser's. She joins him and the rest of the staff for lunch, where she reveals that she's moved back to New York and is interested in getting a tattoo from Black Ink. This news doesn't sit well with everyone, especially Dutchess who is jealous of Tiffany's past relationship with Ceaser.

Later in the episode, the tension between Dutchess and Donna comes to a head when they get into another physical altercation in the shop over a petty argument. This time, however, the other staff members are quick to intervene and break it up before anyone gets seriously hurt. Ceaser is fed up with their constant fighting and decides to fire both of them on the spot.

As the episode ends, an emotional Sky visits Genesis at his new apartment, bringing him food and clothes. She opens up to him about her own struggles and promises to support him however she can. Meanwhile, Donna and Dutchess are seen packing up their belongings at the shop and heading in opposite directions, unsure of what the future holds for them now that they no longer work at Black Ink.
