During the season 5 episode 17 of Black Ink Crew: New York titled Say It, Don't Spray It, the crew deals with a lot of drama as they try to make things right. After a heated conversation with Ceaser, Donna struggles to keep her emotions in check and ends up lashing out at Alex. Meanwhile, Sky is on a mission to find the right therapist to help her work through her childhood trauma.
The episode kicks off with Donna still upset over her conversation with Ceaser in the previous episode. She confides in Alex about how she feels and he tries to reassure her that everything will be fine. But while they're talking, Donna loses her temper and starts screaming and throwing things around the shop. Alex tries to calm her down, but it's clear she's still very emotional and struggling to process her feelings.
Sky, on the other hand, is focused on finding a good therapist to help her deal with the trauma she experienced growing up in the foster system. She meets with several therapists, each with their own approach and style, but struggles to find one that really connects with her. She opens up about her past, including the abuse she suffered and her strained relationship with her mother.
Meanwhile, Ceaser and Teddy try to make things right with Tati after their previous argument. Tati is still upset, but they manage to work things out and get back on track. It's clear that their relationship is still a bit rocky, but they're all committed to moving forward and putting the drama behind them.
Elsewhere in the episode, Melody surprises her husband with a trip to Las Vegas for his birthday. The couple enjoys some time away from the shop and the stresses of work, but they can't help but worry about the drama that's unfolding back home.
As the episode comes to a close, Donna and Alex have a heart-to-heart and really open up about their feelings for each other. They both agree that they want to be more than just friends, but they're not sure how to make that happen without causing any drama or tension within the shop.
Overall, Say It, Don't Spray It is a tense and emotional episode that covers a lot of ground. From Donna's outburst to Sky's search for a therapist and Melody's birthday surprise, there's never a dull moment in the world of Black Ink Crew: New York.
