As the 6th season of Black Ink Crew: New York continues, episode 10 titled "See Ya, Korea" takes viewers on an emotional journey of self-discovery for the cast members.
At the beginning of the episode, the crew is still dealing with the aftermath of their trip to Seoul, South Korea. They are all trying to come to terms with the traumatic events that occurred on the trip, especially with the situation that occurred with Sky.
Alex reunites with his old flame Donna, who he has been trying to rekindle a relationship with. However, Donna feels Alex isn't serious about wanting to be with her and is only trying to pass time until the right opportunity comes his way.
In other news, Puma’s love for tattoos comes from his love of hip hop. He and Walt are trying to work on a new mixtape for their rap group, 2nd City Ink. Meanwhile, Ceaser is working on his and his cousin Ted’s new project, Black Ink Miami. However, as he makes plans to expand the Black Ink brand, he is met with resistance from his team back home.
In one of the most dramatic scenes of the episode, Sky seeks out help from a therapist to try and come to terms with the pain from her past. She reveals that she was sexually assaulted as a child and has been keeping it a secret from her friends and family her whole life. This is a moment of vulnerability that Sky has never shown before and is a powerful moment of growth and healing for her.
To wrap up the show, the crew heads out for a night on the town to try and clear their minds and blow off some steam. However, things don't go as planned and they all end up getting into a heated argument that forces them to question the strength of their bond.
