Ep 11. Law of Attraction

In the eleventh episode of season one of Black-ish, entitled "Law of Attraction," the Johnson family faces a series of dilemmas when Dre's sister Rhonda unexpectedly shows up at their doorstep.

As Rhonda settles in as a houseguest, she causes some tensions to rise between Dre and his wife, Bow, who are having difficulty adjusting to Rhonda's unorthodox lifestyle choices. Rhonda's strange habits, such as eating sardines for breakfast and talking loudly on her cell phone at odd hours of the night, begin to wear on the entire family.

To make matters worse, Dre also receives some disappointing news at work – he has been passed over for a promotion in favor of a less experienced white colleague. Feeling frustrated and undervalued, Dre begins to question whether his hard work and dedication have truly paid off.

As he seeks advice from his co-workers, Dre begins to suspect that the root of his problems may lie in his own subconscious beliefs. Inspired by the concept of the Law of Attraction, Dre decides to take control of his destiny by visualizing and manifesting his desired outcome.

Meanwhile, Bow struggles to connect with Rhonda and help her adjust to a more "normal" way of living. Despite her best efforts, Rhonda remains aloof and resistant to change, leading Bow to question whether she is doing enough to help her sister-in-law.

Amid these tensions, the family must also contend with a series of mishaps and misunderstandings that culminate in a hilarious and chaotic dinner party. Despite the challenges they face, however, the Johnsons ultimately prove that love and family can conquer any obstacles.

"Law of Attraction" is a heartwarming and thought-provoking episode that explores themes of self-acceptance, family, and the power of positive thinking.
