In Blue Dragon Uncut season 1 episode 15, titled "A Path Towards Hope," the gang finally reaches the border of a land known as the Sea of Trees. While the Sea of Trees is rumored to be dangerous, the group decides to venture in since it's the only way to reach the next town. They soon find out that the rumor was true as they encounter all sorts of strange and dangerous creatures.

Shu, Kluke, and Jiro split up from Zola and Marumaro to search for the town on their own. Along the way, they are attacked by a giant plant monster that separates the three. Shu is forced to fend off the creature while Kluke and Jiro make their way to safety. As Shu fights the monster on his own, he starts to doubt his abilities and feels hopeless.

Meanwhile, Kluke and Jiro stumble upon a village that is being terrorized by a group of bandits. They meet an old woman who tells them that the bandits are after the villagers' magic water, which has the power to heal any illness. The old woman also tells Kluke that she possesses the power to heal and that she must have hope to bring it out.

Back with Shu, he realizes that he cannot defeat the plant monster on his own and starts to lose hope. However, Zola and Marumaro arrive just in time to help him fight off the creature. With their combined power, they are able to defeat the monster and continue on their journey.

As they reunite and make their way to the town, they come across the same village that Kluke and Jiro had previously visited, and they witness the bandits stealing the magic water. Shu and the others decide to help the villagers and defeat the bandits. During the battle, Kluke remembers the old woman's words about hope and unlocks her healing powers. With her newfound abilities, she is able to heal Jiro and the other injured villagers.

In the end, the group continues on their journey with a newfound sense of hope and purpose. They discover that there is more to their journey than just defeating the evil forces that threaten their world. They must also help those in need and bring hope to the hopeless.
