Still Crazy After All These Years is the second episode of the popular legal comedy-drama show Boston Legal's first season. The episode originally aired on October 10, 2004, on ABC.

The episode follows the story of an elderly man named Bernard "Bernie" Kent who is being evicted from his residence, a retirement home. The retirement home's management claims that Bernie has become a nuisance and is disrupting the peace of other residents. However, Bernie's son, Henry, feels that the retirement home is trying to kick his father out to free up space for more profitable residents.

Meanwhile, at the law firm of Crane, Poole & Schmidt, Alan Shore (James Spader), tries to help a woman who was fired from her job for being too old. The woman, Sally Heep (played by guest star Betty White), claims that her younger and less qualified colleague was promoted instead of her. Alan decides to take up the case, hoping to win a huge settlement for Sally.

Denny Crane (William Shatner), on the other hand, is celebrating his birthday and is ecstatic about turning 69. As he enjoys his birthday party, he realizes that he has started to forget things and fears that he might be suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

The episode features a lot of witty banter and hilarious one-liners, which have become the show's trademark. The performance of the entire cast, especially James Spader, William Shatner, and Betty White, is top-notch, and their chemistry is fantastic.

As the episode progresses, Alan and Sally's case takes a dramatic turn when the opposing counsel accuses Sally of being a racist. This leads to a heated exchange between the two lawyers and culminates in a shocking revelation.

Meanwhile, Henry hires the services of Crane, Poole & Schmidt to help his father, Bernie. He wants the firm to sue the retirement home for wrongful eviction and harassment. Alan, who is representing Bernie, finds out that the retirement home is trying to get rid of him to free up his prime room in the building for a more profitable resident.

Denny, who is still concerned about his memory loss, seeks medical advice and undergoes a series of tests. He also starts taking medication to help improve his memory.

The episode reaches its climax when Alan and Denny work together to get Sally the settlement she deserves. However, the celebrations are cut short when Denny forgets his wife's name during his speech. This leaves him distraught, and he starts to realize the severity of his condition.

In the end, the episode leaves a few questions unanswered and sets the stage for the upcoming episodes of the season. Still Crazy After All These Years is a fun and engaging episode that showcases the show's ability to balance comedy and drama perfectly. It keeps the viewers entertained throughout while subtly addressing serious issues related to aging and discrimination.
