Ep 3. Wisdom Teeth

Abbi and Ilana are back at it again with another hilarious adventure in the city. In this episode titled Wisdom Teeth, Abbi's dentist informs her that she needs to get her wisdom teeth removed. Initially, Abbi is hesitant to go under the knife and subject herself to the anesthesia, but Ilana assures her that it's nothing to be afraid of and that she'll be there every step of the way.

As they make their way to the dentist's office, Ilana keeps Abbi's spirits high by making her laugh and distracting her from the upcoming procedure. Once they arrive, Abbi is taken back to the operating room where she is put to sleep. Ilana, being the devoted friend that she is, stays with Abbi the entire time, even though she is clearly uncomfortable in the sterile environment.

While Abbi is unconscious, Ilana takes this opportunity to explore the dentist's office. She rummages through drawers, steals some toothbrushes, and tries on different types of gloves. She even manages to sneak into the procedure area and prank some of the other patients by pretending to be a dentist herself.

As Abbi starts to come to, Ilana quickly puts everything back in its place and helps her friend out of the office. However, the effects of the anesthesia are starting to kick in, and Abbi is acting erratically, causing Ilana to go on a wild goose chase around the city to find her a specific type of milkshake. In typical Broad City fashion, chaos ensues as Abbi and Ilana navigate through the streets of New York City while Abbi hallucinates and Ilana tries to keep her grounded.

Throughout the episode, we also get to see glimpses of the girls' lives outside of each other. Abbi struggles with the fact that she hasn't had sex in a while and contemplates using a dating app to find someone to hook up with. Meanwhile, Ilana is dealing with her own personal crisis as she tries to find a job that will give her more purpose and fulfillment in life.

Overall, this episode of Broad City is filled with the trademark humor and hijinks that fans have come to love and expect from the show. The bond between Abbi and Ilana is stronger than ever as they support each other through a potentially scary and daunting experience. And as always, the show manages to delicately balance humor with introspection, tackling issues that many people can relate to while still making us laugh out loud.
