The episode entitled "Iliaster" begins with Kidow and Ilie once again searching for the mysterious butterfly woman who seems to be connected to the cagaster outbreak. As they travel with Iliaster, they begin to suspect that he may not be entirely trustworthy, and their doubts are confirmed when they discover that he is actually a member of a rival faction that seeks to control the cagasters and use them for their own purposes.
Despite their initial distrust of Iliaster, Kidow and Ilie realize that they need his help in order to reach the butterfly woman and uncover the truth about the cagaster outbreak. Along the way, they face numerous obstacles and challenges, including a fierce battle with a group of cagasters that nearly claims Ilie's life.
As the episode reaches its climax, Kidow, Ilie, and Iliaster finally reach their destination and confront the butterfly woman. What they discover shocks them to their core, and sets the stage for an explosive finale to the first season of Cagaster of an Insect Cage.
