The group meets up with Tomoyo, and they go to the park to play in the pool. Sakura and Yukito are goofing around together, splashing each other when Sakura's friends interrupt them. They hand Sakura a fancy costume and ask her to try it on. After Sakura changes, Tomoyo starts to film and record her as she performs a show. Sakura is surprised, as she has never seen Tomoyo like this before. However, she is enjoying herself, and everything goes according to plan.

Suddenly, Sakura sees a cloud of magic in the distance, and she feels her wand start to vibrate. She excuses herself and runs towards the cloud, Tomoyo not far behind. She transforms into her magical girl outfit, and when she arrives at the cloud's location, she finds a card called The Sweet that has transformed the park's water into syrup.

Sakura speaks the incantation, reciting, "The power of the moon, come to me!" as the daytime moon appears and shines onto her Clow Card. Her wand arced with magical energy, and she subdues the card with a tight grip. With The Sweet under control, everyone can resume their fun in the pool.

Sakura's friends are amazed by the magic and quickly congratulate her but Tomoyo, however, wasn't so much captivated by the magic. Instead, she tries to get Yukito to notice her, but he seems to only have eyes for Sakura. Always cheerful, Sakura takes it all in stride. However, she's clueless about Yukito's secret and his feelings towards her.

As the day goes on, the mythology behind the Daytime Moon is explored further. On the way back to the house, Sakura and Yukito spend time together at the aquarium, discussing the legend of the daytime moon and the couple that loved each other eternally. This conversation is heavy with underlying meaning, as Yukito reveals his own feelings towards Sakura. Sakura reveals that she enjoys being with him, and he is happy to hear this before they part ways.

The episode finishes with Sakura's friends gathered around a bonfire, enjoying the last night of their summer vacation. Tomoyo starts to sing an endearing song, causing both Sakura and Yukito to look at her in awe. This moment is a turning point for the two of them as they begin to realize that a lot can change in just one summer.

In conclusion, Sakura and Yukito and the Daytime Moon is a light-hearted episode with a hint of romantic tension between the main characters. Viewers will enjoy the mix of adventure and summer holiday antics that make this installment an entertaining and enjoyable episode.
