Ep 6. Sakura and Memories of Her Mother

Sakura and Memories of Her Mother is the sixth episode of Cardcaptor Sakura's first season. The episode begins with Sakura feeling homesick and thinking about her mother who passed away when she was just a little girl. Sakura's older brother Toya invites his friends over for breakfast, and Sakura is excited to meet them. Sakura tries to capture it with her cards, but it proves to be too powerful for her. She realizes that she needs a new strategy and asks Kero for advice. Kero suggests that she use the Windy Card to blow out the Firey Card's flame, and then capture it with the Water Card.

Sakura puts Kero's plan into action, and with some effort, she is able to capture the Firey Card. She returns it to its card form and adds it to her collection. Sakura feels proud of herself for successfully capturing the card, and she knows that her mother would be proud of her too.

Sakura and Memories of Her Mother is a touching episode that explores the theme of grief and the importance of family. It also introduces a new Clow Card and shows Sakura's growth as a Cardcaptor.
