Tracy lies unconscious in hospital as Ken tries to comfort distraught Deirdre. Sian and Sophie wake after a night of passion, happy to have finally consummated their relationship. The police start to question the residents about the assault on Tracy. Tyrone tells them he was visiting a friend.Anna's relieved when Gary finally emerges from his bedroom. He apologises for his recent behaviour. Anna tells him he needs to say sorry to Izzy for standing her up. Steve arrives at the hospital hoping that he'll be able to look after Amy whilst Tracy's incapacitated. But Deirdre makes it clear she thinks he's responsible for the attack on Tracy and she's told the police as much. Sally tries to persuade Rosie to move back home but Rosie announces that she and Jason are moving into No.12 when it's been rebuilt. Gary apologises to Izzy but she's cold towards him. But when he explains how he's finding it difficult to cope, Izzy softens and he kisses her. Gail and David, realising they're both short of an alibi, agree to lie to the police and say they were together when Tracy was attacked.
