Ep 4. Thanks!

In this episode of Corporate, titled "Thanks!", the characters navigate the treacherous terrain of office politics during the Thanksgiving holidays. With everybody eager to escape the dreary office grind and head home to spend time with loved ones, tensions are running high and bodies are getting in each other's personal space.

The employees of Hampton DeVille are eager to get out of the office and enjoy the festivities of Thanksgiving. Matt and Jake are planning to leave early, but are held up by their boss, Christian, who once again tasks them with making him look good in front of his wife's visiting family. Meanwhile, Kate has made alternate Thanksgiving plans, but is left stranded in the office as her ride home ditches her in favor of spending time with their significant other.

Things get even more chaotic when the office's creepy security guard puts a "turkey lockdown" in place, keeping everyone inside the building until further notice. As the hours stretch on and everybody's hunger grows to torturous levels, tensions start boiling over and even the kindest employees find themselves turning on one another.

But amidst all the chaos and humor, a touching subplot emerges when Christian's wife shows up and reveals to Matt and Jake that her husband is going through a difficult time. With a newfound appreciation for Christian, the two set out to put on a stunning Thanksgiving dinner for the entire office, earning the gratitude and appreciation they've long sought.

"Thanks!" is a classic episode of Corporate, packed with humor, heart, and surprisingly intense interpersonal conflict. It's a great installment to the second season of the show, and one that will have viewers laughing and feeling touched in equal measure.
