Cracker is a crime drama series. The main character of this show is Gerry Fitzgerald, better known as Fitz. He is a psychologist with some unique personality traits. He insults his clients and does not like too many people in general. He lectures college classes, speaks on his own radio show, and has a practice at a mini-mall. The Los Angeles police department often goes to him for help with their difficult cases. Though Fitz is odd he is able to get into the mind of the criminals. While solving crimes he also fights his own battles with drinking, gambling, cheating on his spouse, and trouble with his son. Each episode shows him helping the police solve their next disturbing case. It also gives more details about his personal life. The show stars Robert Pastorelli as the main character. Also starring in this series are Carolyn McCormick and Josh Hartnett.
