Ep 20. Grave Young Men

In CSI: Miami season 1 episode 20, entitled "Grave Young Men," the team is called in to investigate a case involving the death of three young men who were buried alive. The episode opens with the discovery of the first body, which is found by a group of teenagers who stumble upon a shallow grave while out at the beach. CSI lead, Horatio Caine (David Caruso), is immediately called to the scene to begin the investigation.

As the team begins to piece together the evidence, it becomes clear that the three boys were likely involved in a dangerous game known as "Russian Roulette." The game involves a group of individuals taking turns holding a revolver loaded with only one bullet. Each participant spins the cylinder, points the gun at their own head, and pulls the trigger. While initially ruling the case a tragic accident, the team soon discovers that there may have been more to the story. The parents of one of the boys reveal that he had been receiving threatening notes in the days leading up to his death, and a search of the crime scene turns up a metal detector that suggests someone had been searching for something in the area. As the team delves deeper, they uncover a web of secrets and lies that lead them to a surprising suspect.

In addition to the case itself, the episode also shows the personal lives of the team members. Horatio's estranged son, Kyle (Evan Ellingson), makes a surprise visit to his father, causing tension between Horatio and his current partner, Yelina (Sofia Milos). Meanwhile, Calleigh (Emily Procter) struggles to deal with her feelings for co-worker, Tim (Adam Rodriguez), as they work together to solve the case.

As with all episodes of CSI: Miami, "Grave Young Men" is filled with fast-paced action, intriguing plot twists, and plenty of forensic science. The episode showcases the team's unique blend of skills as they work together to uncover the truth and ensure that justice is served. With gripping storytelling and strong performances from the cast, "Grave Young Men" is a standout episode in the show's first season.
