Ep 3. Escapology

In Deception (2018) season 1 episode 3, titled "Escapology," magician Cameron Black and his team of FBI agents are called in to investigate the death of a escape artist. The escape artist, who was performing a stunt at a charity event, was supposed to escape from a tank of water, but instead drowned.

As they start investigating, Cameron and his team discover that this was not an accident and that there may be foul play involved. They start looking into all the people who were present at the event, including the charity's chairman and the escape artist's ex-girlfriend, who now works for the chairman.

Meanwhile, Cameron is also dealing with personal issues, as he still struggles to cope with the fact that his twin brother, who was also a magician, died. He starts visiting his brother's grave and talking to him, trying to find closure.

As the investigation progresses, they find evidence that suggests the chairman may have had a motive to kill the escape artist, as he was about to reveal some damaging information about him. They also discover that the ex-girlfriend had some ties to a criminal organization and may have been involved in the murder.

With the help of his team, Cameron sets up a trap to catch the killer but things don't go according to plan and they end up in a dangerous situation.

In the end, Cameron and his team are able to solve the case and bring the killer to justice. The episode ends with Cameron once again visiting his brother's grave, but this time, he feels a sense of closure and peace, knowing that he was able to use his magic to help others and make a difference.
