In the season 1 finale of Detention Adventure, titled "Lab Results," the gang is still on the hunt for the Crown of King Midas. They believe it's hidden in the school's science lab, but first they need to get past Mr. Spanks, the school's strict science teacher who always seems to have his eye on them.
While trying to avoid Mr. Spanks, the gang splits up to search the lab for the crown. They each have assigned tasks, but when the lab's fire alarm goes off, they're forced to work together to find a way out of the building. Along the way, they encounter a series of obstacles, including locked doors, hazardous chemicals, and a giant mechanical hand.
As they make their way through the lab, the gang starts to piece together clues that lead them closer to the crown. They discover a secret underground room and find a mysterious lock that they believe is the key to unlocking the crown's hiding place.
Just as they're on the verge of finding the crown, they're caught by Mr. Spanks, who's furious with them for causing the fire alarm to go off. He confiscates all their equipment and sends them to detention, where they're left to ponder their next move.
Despite the setback, the gang refuses to give up on their quest for the Crown of King Midas. They hatch a plan to break into the school after hours and retrieve their confiscated equipment, including a crucial item they need to unlock the crown's hiding place: a mysterious vial of liquid.
Using their ingenuity and teamwork, the gang successfully breaks into the school and retrieves their equipment. They then use the liquid to unlock the crown's hiding place and finally lay their hands on the legendary artifact.
But their victory is short-lived when they realize that the crown is cursed, and whoever wears it will turn to gold. They decide to bury the crown to keep it safe from anyone who might try to use it for their own gain.
In the end, the gang learns an important lesson about the dangers of greed and the value of friendship. They may not have gotten rich from the Crown of King Midas, but they gained something much more valuable: each other.
