The TARDIS materializes in a forest, and both the Doctor and his companion Jo Grant, played by Katy Manning, are bewildered to find that their surroundings are unfamiliar. As the pair try to make sense of their situation, they're confronted by an aggressive dinosaur, which they manage to thwart with the help of a strange energy field.
As the episode progresses, viewers are introduced to the first Doctor and the second Doctor, who are both summoned by the Time Lords to help resolve the crisis facing them. The three Doctors are brought together, and viewers are treated to an exciting and witty exchange between them. As the Time Lords explain the situation, the Doctors work together to try and find a solution to the problem.
The Three Doctors, Episode 1 is a great introduction to the classic era of Doctor Who, bringing together three of the most beloved Doctors into one story.
