Echoes is a 2022 mystery thriller mini-series streaming on Netflix. The show follows identical twins Leni and Gina, played by Michelle Monaghan, who have secretly switched lives every year since they were children. In Los Angeles, Gina discovers the life Leni has been hiding from her is in shambles. Jack is having an affair with their literary agent Livia. Meanwhile, Leni's new novel is overdue and Livia threatens to drop her as a client. Gina must pretend to be Leni while covertly investigating her twin's disappearance. She meets Leni's assistant Claudia who proves to be an ally. Together they start digging into Leni's life for clues to where she could have gone.

Back in Virginia, Leni's husband Charlie begins to realize something is different about his wife. Small inconsistencies in Gina's behavior as Leni make Charlie suspicious. He starts questioning what Gina says and does, putting her act under scrutiny. Gina tries to keep up the charade of being Leni while also looking for clues herself in Leni's home. Strange events add further mystery about what happened to her twin sister.

Echoes alternates between the perspectives of identical twins Leni and Gina as they live each other's lives in a twisted identity swap. The show is full of suspense and surprise twists as Gina races to find Leni while keeping up the pretense.
