In each episode, a group of doctors and specialists travel across the UK to help patients with their often embarrassing and painful conditions. In Series 5 Episode 9, the team focuses on helping patients with a range of medical issues, from the usual rashes and skin cancers to more unusual conditions such as severe sweat problems and dodgy toes.

The episode begins with Dr. Dawn Harper and Dr. Pixie McKenna visiting 21-year-old Joshua, who has a problem with his feet. He has a rare genetic disorder that affects the growth of his nails, which has left them crooked, thick, and sometimes painful. Joshua is understandably self-conscious about his feet and is worried that he will have to live with the condition for the rest of his life. Dr. Dawn and Dr. Pixie decide that Joshua needs to see a podiatrist to get some specialist treatment and advice.

Next, Dr. Christian Jessen and Dr. Pixie meet with 14-year-old Alex, who has been suffering from severe sweating since he was a child. Despite using strong antiperspirants and other remedies, his sweating has gotten worse over the years, leaving him feeling embarrassed and isolated. After discussing his condition with Dr. Christian and Dr. Pixie, Alex is given an appointment with a specialist who works with patients who suffer from hyperhidrosis.

The show then moves on to a woman named Mary, who has been experiencing painful cysts on her ovaries for years. Mary has undergone multiple surgeries to remove the cysts, but they keep returning, causing her constant pain and discomfort. She has also been experiencing excessive sweating, which is making her embarrassed and self-conscious. Dr. Dawn and Dr. Pixie take Mary to see a specialist who recommends a new type of surgery to remove the cysts and to manage her sweating problem.

The episode concludes with a visit to a tattoo parlor, where Dr. Pixie meets with a patient named Kieran who is obsessed with tattoos. Over the years, Kieran has had tattoos all over his body, but he has recently noticed some changes to the tattoo on his leg. Dr. Pixie examines the tattoo and finds that it has become raised and bumpy, which could be a sign of skin cancer. She advises Kieran to see a dermatologist as soon as possible to get the lesion checked out.
