One afternoon at university, Nancy happens by a human rights demonstration for the south east Asian country of Patan. The Lama Shamdas, Patan's most revered religious leader, had not been seen for two weeks and it is feared that the governmetn army will slience him, if they haven't already. Dr. Kartha, Nancy's professor, is watching the demonstration too. He and Nancy exchange a few words bu, whent two suspicious-looking men show up, Dr. Kartha soon disappears, leaving his trenchcoat behind.
