Extreme Peril television show is true to its name. It is an hour of pumping adrenalin highlighting individuals in real-life attempts to rescue others. Some rescuers are professionals such as firefighters, policemen and the Coast Guard who save window washers, people stuck in a flash flood or a man buried alive.

Some rescuers who are everyday people become involved, such as when a news helicopter tries to help a rescue helicopter in distress. There is the pregnant skydiver who runs into trouble or numerous boating accidents including one on the Mississippi River. These are examples of endless mishaps that will keep you captivated.
