Ep 2. Shall We Gather at the River

In Falling Skies season 2 episode 2, titled "Shall We Gather at the River," the Second Mass attempts to cross the river to safety and regroup with other surviving human camps. However, they are met with several obstacles along the way.

We see Hal struggle with his relationship with Maggie and his own mortality as he is injured in battle. We see Tom grapple with his leadership role and the weight of the decisions he must make for the good of the group.
