Ep 2. Collateral Damage

Tom and his companions, having saved themselves from the downfall of their sanctuary of Charleston, are trudging through the woods trying to find the resistance fighters. However, they are shortly ambushed by a group of skitters and harnessed children. After a tense confrontation, they're saved by the arrival of a new group who rescues and takes them hostage. This new group includes an ally, Tom's former flame, Dr. Glass's father and enemy to the Skitters, Anthony and Pope.

As the story unfolds, the group discovers that there may be more threats from within the ranks of people who have decided to ally with the overlords. Tom's son, Ben, who had been previously harnessed, is worried that Cathy, one of his former classmates who'd also been harnessed and disappeared, could be part of the crisis. Meanwhile, Tom's second son, Matt, tries to hold off some rivals while still finding his place in their community.

Throughout the episode, the group uncovers a plot involving skitters and harnessed children. They finally confront the mastermind who is revealed to be a collaborator within their ranks. The episode ends with a few surprising twists and reveals which suggest that there is a lot more going on than meets the eye. With alien battles, intricate plots involving humans and aliens, and a few unexpected turns along the way, this episode is sure to keep fans of the series hooked.
