Ep 4. Prelude to a Diss

Based on the popular book series by Rebecca Serle, Famous in Love follows the story of a young actress named Paige Townsen (played by Bella Thorne) as she navigates the highs and lows of Hollywood stardom.

In season 1 episode 4, titled "Prelude to a Diss," tensions continue to rise on the set of Paige's film, Locked. With the lead actor Rainer (played by Carter Jenkins) still reeling from his breakup with co-star Jordan (played by Keith Powers), things are anything but smooth sailing.

Meanwhile, Paige's newfound fame is beginning to take a toll on her personal life. Her best friend Cassie (played by Georgie Flores) is feeling left behind as she watches Paige's star rise, and tries to cope with her jealousy while still being supportive.

At the same time, Paige is struggling to balance her burgeoning career with her college classes and romantic relationship with fellow student Jake (played by Charlie DePew). With so much going on, she starts to feel overwhelmed and unsure of who to trust.

As tensions continue to simmer on the Locked set, Paige finds herself at the center of a heated confrontation between Rainer and his mother's new fiancé. With everyone on edge and emotions running high, the future of the film hangs in the balance.

As if that weren't enough drama, Paige also has to contend with the arrival of her ex-boyfriend, who shows up unexpectedly and stirs up old feelings.
