Fate/EXTRA Last Encore Season 1 Episode 8 Bajiquan

The episode Bajiquan of Fate/EXTRA Last Encore season 1 starts with the continuation of the previous episode where Hakuno and Rin get separated. Li Shuwen appears to be a calm, collected, and even benevolent fighter at first, who agrees to let Hakuno become his disciple and teach him Bajiquan, a powerful martial art technique. However, things turn out to be more difficult than expected as Hakuno becomes more aware of how ruthless and violent Li Shuwen truly is. He is unforgiving towards his opponents, even the ones who have already shown their weakness or been defeated. Li Shuwen has a philosophy that it's not the winner who has the right to judge, but the loser. On the other hand, Rani VIII warns Hakuno that he must be careful and not let Li Shuwen's teachings cloud his mind. He believes that Li Shuwen's techniques will only lead him to kill, with no concern for his own life, which is the opposite of what Hakuno and his Servant aspire for, survival.

Meanwhile, back in the forest, Rin is saved by her long lost friend, Rani VI. Rani VI tells Rin about her own past experience in the Holy Grail War and her dream to see the sky outside of the virtual world. Rin, realizing that she must help Hakuno, decides to go after him and meets up with Rani VIII. The two girls make their way to the desert, where they come upon an army of soldiers. Rin, with her combat skills, battles the soldiers in order to clear the path for her and Rani VIII. After the fight, they continue on their journey, determined to find Hakuno and save him from Li Shuwen's teachings.

The episode "Bajiquan" is action-packed and character-driven, featuring several intense battles and intriguing conversations between the characters.
