Ep 7. Curse of the Fairy

Find Me in Paris season 1 episode 7 titled "Curse of the Fairy" sees Lena struggling to come to terms with her ex-boyfriend Max's sudden reappearance. She's more confused than ever about her feelings for him, especially now that he's just told her that he's moving to Paris. Meanwhile, the roles have been changed as Lena's new friends, the ballet students, discover a mysterious fairy.

When the students rehearsing for a performance stumble upon a tiny figure dressed in a tutu, they are initially taken aback by its presence. But as they get closer, they realize that it is actually a fairy. They follow it to the backstage where they uncover a strange amulet that has been pinned on the costume. The amulet, they discover, is cursed, and anyone who wears it will have a curse cast upon them. That's when Lena steps in, determined to unravel the mystery.

As the ballet class tries to figure out the best way to help the fairy, Lena's attention is divided between her friends and Max. She finds herself torn between her feelings for him and the fact that he's never really been supportive of her ballet career. In fact, Max had always been more focused on his rock band and touring with them than on her passion for dance. Lena wonders whether he has changed, or whether he's still the same selfish boy she knew years ago.

Backstage, Lena makes a discovery of her own when she finds Max's guitar case in one of the storage lockers. She feels a pang of sadness, knowing that he's really moving to Paris. Yet, she still doesn't know how to tell him about what happened to her and how she left him behind back in their home country. Lena is convinced that Max won't understand, and that he'll just leave again if she tells him the truth.

Meanwhile, the ballet students come up with a plan to help the fairy: they must find someone from the original ballet production who can break the curse. Lena is convinced that the dancer Alice could be a good option, so she sneaks out of the academy with Henri's help to go look for Alice.

At Alice's apartment, Lena hears her story and learns that she had actually been one of the original dancers who had performed the cursed ballet. Alice explains that when she was a teenager, she had been cursed as well, and it still affects her to this day. Lena is horrified to hear that Alice's father had encouraged her to continue dancing even when she was hurt, realizing that it's the same thing that could happen to her.

Soon, Lena gets a call from Camille, who tells her that the fairy had been found by the ballet teacher, Madame Darbus, who confiscated it. Lena, Henri, and Alice rush back to the academy, and Lena confronts Madame Darbus, explaining the situation and asking for permission to perform the ballet. In the end, the ballet team is shown doing the performance and breaking the curse.

As the episode comes to a close, Lena decides to take a chance and tell Max the truth about her life as a time traveler and the fact that she had been forced to leave him behind. Max is confused at first, but eventually, he realizes that he still shares a passion for music with Lena. He tells Lena that he would like to stay in Paris and that he wants to join a band there. Lena is initially surprised, but then she smiles, relieved that Max has chosen to stay in Paris. The episode concludes with Max and Lena walking towards the Eiffel Tower, deciding to start a new chapter in their lives.
