Flea Market Flip Season 10 Episode 16 How Handy is Mandi?

In season 10, episode 16 of Flea Market Flip, titled "How Handy is Mandi?," co-hosts Lara Spencer and Dave Oehler challenge two teams of flea market enthusiasts to a high-stakes flipping competition. Each team is given $500 and is tasked with finding and restoring three items from a local flea market within a set amount of time.

The first team, made up of husband and wife duo Brian and Teresa, are on the hunt for functional pieces that can be repurposed with a little bit of TLC. Meanwhile, the second team, comprised of friends Eron and Mandi, are looking for items that they can seamlessly integrate into their own eclectic personal styles.

Both teams quickly get to work scouring the flea market for hidden treasures. Brian and Teresa come across a rusty old utility cart, a pair of discarded shutters, and a kitschy wooden kitchen clock. Eron and Mandi, on the other hand, snap up a tarnished brass headboard, a battered wooden trunk, and a midcentury modern lamp.

Once the teams have their finds, they set to work restoring them in their own unique ways. Brian and Teresa tackle their utility cart first, using a combination of sandpaper and spray paint to give it a modern, industrial look. They then repurpose the shutters into a wall-mounted mail and key holder, and transform the kitchen clock into a trendy geometric wall art piece.

Eron and Mandi take a different approach to their finds, stripping the brass headboard down to its original shine and restoring the wooden trunk to its former glory. They also give the midcentury modern lamp a chic update, replacing its outdated lampshade with a bold, geometric one.

Once all three items are complete, Lara and Dave appraise them and determine which team has made the biggest profit off of their initial $500 investment. The winning team wins bragging rights and a cash prize, while the losing team has to load their unsold items back into their trailer and head home empty-handed.

Throughout the episode, viewers get a glimpse into each team's creative process, as well as the challenges they face along the way. From dealing with unexpected issues during restoration to balancing personal tastes with what will sell, both teams have their work cut out for them. But with a little bit of skill and a lot of determination, they're able to turn their flea market finds into profitable pieces.
