In Flea Market Flip season 3 episode 2, titled "Seeing Orange," the competition heats up as two teams of upcycling enthusiasts compete against one another to transform a set of neglected flea market finds into profitable pieces. The theme of this episode is all about the warm and vibrant color orange, and the teams are challenged to use this pop of color in creative and unexpected ways.

The teams consist of two pairs of friends who all share a passion for repurposing old items. The first pair consists of a mother-son duo who are both artists and love to incorporate unique art pieces into their designs. The second pair are two sisters who are self-proclaimed "thrifting queens" and know how to turn trash into treasure.

Each team is given a budget of $500 to spend at the flea market on a variety of items, from old furniture pieces to vintage knick-knacks. After purchasing their items, they have just one day to transform them into stunning designs that will impress the judges and hopefully make them a profit.

The mother-son team decides to take a risk by purchasing a vintage set of orange velvet chairs that they plan to reupholster. They also buy an old wooden bench, some metal caged lights, and a set of wooden blocks that they plan to turn into an art installation. The sisters opt for a collection of orange glassware, an old bicycle, a set of metal lockers, and a vintage typewriter.

Once the teams get back to the workshop, they get to work refurbishing their items. The mother-son team spends hours carefully reupholstering the velvet chairs and working on their art installation. The sisters focus on sanding and repainting their bicycle, turning their lockers into a chic shelving unit, and restoring the vintage typewriter.

The next day, both teams present their revamped items to the judges and hope to make a profit by selling them at a local flea market. The judges are impressed by the mother-son team's unique art installation and the beautifully refurbished velvet chairs. They also admire the sisters' creativity in incorporating the orange glassware into their designs and turning the lockers into a functional and stylish storage unit.

At the end of the day, both teams sell their items at the flea market and wait anxiously to hear the results. The judges tally up the profits and declare a winner based on who made the most money from their designs.

"Seeing Orange" is a fun and lively episode full of bright colors and creative designs. The mother-son team and the sisters put their own unique spin on the color orange and come up with stunning creations that impress the judges. This episode is a testament to the power of upcycling and the endless possibilities that come with repurposing old items.
