Ep 1. Episode 1

In Fortitude season 2 episode 1, the small, arctic town of Fortitude is still reeling from the catastrophic events of the previous season. With a sinister government body now in charge of the town, tensions are high and everyone is on edge.

The episode opens with a group of tourists arriving on the island, eager to catch a glimpse of the elusive Northern Lights. Among them is Michael Lennox (Dennis Quaid), a renowned scientist who has come to Fortitude to conduct research on the effects of climate change on the arctic environment.

Meanwhile, Sheriff Dan Anderssen (Richard Dormer) is struggling to keep the peace and maintain order in the town. With his deputy still recovering from injuries sustained in the previous season, Dan is forced to rely on a new recruit, Ingrid (Mia Jexen), who has her own secrets and motives.

As the murder investigation takes some unexpected turns and old conflicts are reignited, it becomes clear that the town of Fortitude will never be the same again. Will Michael be able to uncover the truth about the killer before it's too late, or will the dark forces lurking in Fortitude consume them all?

Fortitude season 2 episode 1 is a gripping and intense start to the season, packed with suspense, mystery, and drama.
