Restless was a British TV show that had been based upon true events. Ruth Gilmartin takes a drive out to her mother's country cottage and finds her mother Sally Gilmartin in a nervous state. Sally believes she is being watched by people in the woods and decides to give her daughter a personal book. This book had the name "Eva Delectorskaya" which Sally confesses is her real name. Going back to 1939 in Paris, Eva was a young woman that stayed with her father and brother. Unfortunately Eva's brother was murdered and his funeral had been devastating to Eva. Lucas Romer had been at the funeral and tried to persuade Eva to join his company. Lucas persuades Eva to become a spy and after thinking it over she agrees. Eva moves to Scotland where she acquires training and proves to exceed all of the tests and training. After her training Eva is moved again to Belgium where she produces fake news papers that the Germans pick up.
