Ep 2. Meet Awesome X

In the second episode of Frisky Dingo's first season, titled "Meet Awesome X," the story continues where it left off with Xander Crews, a billionaire playboy who moonlights as the superhero Awesome X, and his arch-nemesis Killface.

The opening scene shows Xander getting up to some mischief, using his riches to randomly break walls, floors, and ceilings to simply make a mess. Meanwhile, Killface tries to take advantage of a public appearance by Awesome X to launch his newest weapon, the Annihilatrix, which threatens to destroy the world.

As Xander preps for the appearance, he learns that his alter-ego is not as famous as he thought -- no one knows who Awesome X is or cares, except for one obsessed fan, Simon, who runs a website dedicated to the superhero. This prompts Xander to put on a show for his fans by hiring actors to pretend to be citizens applauding him in front of TV cameras.

At the same time, more backstory is revealed about Killface, including his love for his son, and his struggles to balance his family life as a single father with his plan to destroy the world. In the midst of all this, Xander decides to throw a party in his former office, now a wreck, and invites Killface in a bid to get him to give up his plan to annihilate the world.

As the two rivals spend more time together, both discover they have more in common than they think, including the shared experience of being raised by single mothers. However, Killface's plan to destroy the world is ultimately not something that can be solved by a simple conversation.

The episode climaxes with a brawl between Xander and Killface, which ends in a surprising way. The Annihilatrix weapon is still out there and time is running out for everyone.

Fans of superhero action, satire, and humor will find plenty to enjoy in this episode, which builds on the characters and themes introduced in the first episode while raising the stakes and adding new twists to the story. Viewers who enjoyed the show Archer and other Adult Swim shows are likely to find Frisky Dingo's brand of humor to their liking as well.
