Ep 9. Matanzas

In From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series season 3 episode 9, titled "Matanzas," the Gecko brothers and the rest of the team are on a frantic mission to find the ancient codex known as the "Rising Son." This elusive artifact holds the key to defeating Amaru, the queen of the vampires, and saving humanity from her wrath.

The team arrives in the city of Matanzas, Cuba, where the codex is believed to be hidden. However, they quickly discover that the city is overrun with vampires, making their mission even more dangerous. The group splits up, with the Gecko brothers going undercover at a local bar frequented by vampires. There, they encounter Vasquez, a former enemy turned ally who has been tracking them and offers his help in finding the codex.

Meanwhile, Kate and Scott are tasked with infiltrating a local museum to find more information about the codex's whereabouts. But their plan is derailed when they are ambushed by a group of vampires who have already infiltrated the museum. The two are forced to fight for their lives as they try to retrieve the information they need.

Elsewhere, Richie's past comes back to haunt him as he is confronted by a mysterious woman who claims to know him from his days as a bank robber. As Richie grapples with this unexpected encounter, he must stay focused on the mission at hand and help his team find the codex before it's too late.

As the team races against time and fights their way through the vampire-infested streets of Matanzas, they soon realize that Amaru is closer than ever to achieving her ultimate goal of unleashing hell on earth. In a suspenseful and action-packed episode, "Matanzas" sets the stage for an epic finale as the battle between the Geckos and the vampires comes to a head.
