Rentarou has taken over his father's detective agency after his recent passing. Aided by identical twin assistants Souju and Sara, he soon starts butting heads with the Yakuza. Sequel series to the original "Futakoi", there is a much more free-form story told in "Futakoi Alternative". It shares parts romance, sci-fi, harem, comedy and action genres, with many of the more dramatic elements coming as the series comes to a close.
