Ep 9. A Clockwork Origin

In the episode A Clockwork Origin, the Futurama crew travels to a distant planet inhabited by intelligent robots. These robots are faced with an existential crisis when they discover evidence that they may not have been created by a higher power, but rather evolved from a common ancestor with humans. The robots split into two factions, one believing in evolution and the other in creationism.

As the crew attempts to navigate this conflict, they also discover that the planet is on a collision course with a nearby star. In a race against time, the crew must work with both robot factions to come up with a solution to save the planet from destruction.

Throughout the episode, themes of science vs. religion, evolution vs. creationism, and the dangers of blind faith are explored. The episode also features the return of Professor Farnsworth's ex-girlfriend, who happens to be the lead scientist on the planet and has secrets of her own.
