Ep 3. Axe Killer Jail

In the third episode of Ghost Adventures: Serial Killer Spirits, the team visit the Iowa State Penitentiary, a notoriously haunted jail filled with the tormented spirits of past residents. The prison's most infamous inmate was the notorious Axe Killer, who terrorized the town in the early 1900s with a string of brutal murders.

The Ghost Adventures team conduct a thorough investigation of the jail, utilizing all their paranormal equipment to communicate with the spirits trapped inside. They begin by exploring the cell blocks, where they feel an overwhelming sense of unease and sadness. As they move deeper into the prison, they come face to face with the Axe Killer's cell, which is said to be particularly active with paranormal activity.

In an effort to communicate with the Axe Killer's ghost, the team conduct a séance in his cell. The psychic medium they brought with them attempts to make contact with him, and they are all shocked when she begins to receive messages from the other side. The Axe Killer's ghost seems to be angry and upset, lashing out at them with a barrage of disturbing messages.

As they dig deeper into the prison's dark past, they realize that the Axe Killer was not the only murderer who was held here. There were several other notorious killers who called this prison home, and their spirits seem to be very active as well. The team spends hours conducting investigations in the darkest corners of the prison, hoping to uncover evidence of their spooky presence.

The investigation takes a particularly intense turn when the team split up and explore the basement, where the most dangerous criminals were kept in solitary confinement. The basement is pitch black and filled with shadows, and the team can hardly see the hand in front of their faces. As they make their way through the dark maze of cells, they begin to hear strange noises and feel cold spots that seem to follow them.

Finally, as they wrap up the investigation and say their goodbyes to the spirits of the prison, they feel a sense of closure. While they may not have been able to communicate with the Axe Killer's ghost in a meaningful way, they feel as if they have paid their respects to the life that was lost here. As they drive away from the prison, they can't help but feel that some part of them will always be drawn to the darkness that lurks within.
