The Ghost Hunters Classic Season 10 Episode 9, titled "Houghton Hears a Who?" follows the TAPS team as they investigate the Houghton Mansion in North Adams, Massachusetts. The mansion was built in 1890 and was the former home of the former North Adams mayor, Albert Houghton. The mansion has since served various purposes over the years, including as a Masonic temple and as a dormitory for a local college. But despite the different uses and occupants, the Houghton Mansion has always been shrouded in mystery and rumors of paranormal activity.

As the team arrives at the Houghton Mansion, they are greeted by the current owner, who explains the history of the mansion and some of the strange occurrences that have been reported over the years. The team then sets up their equipment and begins their investigation, splitting up to cover different areas of the mansion.

One group focuses on the third floor, where the former Masonic temple was located. The team uses EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) equipment to try and capture any ghostly voices or sounds. They also use a thermal imaging camera to check for any unusual heat signatures. Meanwhile, another group investigates the first floor, where they search for any evidence of paranormal activity in the main living areas of the mansion.

As the investigation continues, the team begins to experience some unexplained occurrences. Doors open and close on their own, objects move without any apparent cause, and strange noises are heard throughout the mansion. The team is also able to capture some visual and audio evidence of potential paranormal activity, which they review and analyze in more detail. They also conduct interviews with local residents and historians to try and shed more light on the history of the Houghton Mansion and any possible explanations for the reported ghostly activity.

As the investigation reaches its conclusion, the team presents their findings to the owner of the Houghton Mansion. While they were able to capture some evidence of paranormal activity, they also note that some of the occurrences could be explained by natural causes. Nevertheless, the owner is grateful for the team's investigation and hopes that it will help shed more light on the mysterious history of the Houghton Mansion.
