  • March 15, 2021

In Ghost Hunters Classic season 11 episode 12, titled "Give Me Liberty or Corpses," the team travels to Philadelphia to investigate the Eastern State Penitentiary, a former prison known for its harsh conditions and paranormal activity.

Upon arriving at the prison, the team is given a tour by a former corrections officer who witnessed multiple strange occurrences during his time there. The team sets up their equipment and begins their investigation, splitting into smaller groups to cover more ground.

One group investigates the cell block known as "Death Row," where they pick up EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) and strange temperature fluctuations. Another group explores the prison hospital, where they encounter an unexplained shadow figure and hear disembodied voices.

But the most intriguing evidence is captured by the team in the prison's exercise yard. Using a thermal camera, they capture what appears to be a human-like figure manifesting out of thin air. This figure then disappears just as suddenly, leaving the team baffled and excited at the prospect of capturing such rare evidence.

Throughout the investigation, the team also looks into the prison's infamous "silent system," in which prisoners were kept in solitary confinement and not allowed to speak to anyone. They speculate that the intense isolation and darkness may have contributed to the prison's paranormal activity.

As the investigation comes to a close, the team presents their evidence to the client, who is impressed with the thoroughness of their investigation and the evidence they've captured. The team leaves Philadelphia feeling satisfied with their investigation and eager to continue their quest for answers and evidence of the paranormal.
